When you graduate with your Chiropractic degree, and you’re ready to go out into the world to be a CHIROPRACTOR, you are going to want to have as much money in the bank as you can and have as little debt as possible. Let that sink in for a minute because maybe this sounds impossible to you. It’s not! You do not have to graduate with more than $250,000 in Chiropractic student loans. I’m going to tell you exactly what Chiropractic student loan hacks I personally used to be able to graduate with a little over a $100,000 in student loan debt and over $50,000 in the bank, with no help from my parents or spouse! It is absolutely possible to graduate with money in the bank, with enough money to start your practice, and without having to borrow extra grad plus loans or business loans, which typically have much higher interest rates. Graduating with less debt gave me the freedom to make better choices for myself and my future.
All of us want to open a practice to a large crowd with lots of new patients. This won't happen just because you put up a 'Now Open' sign. There needs to be a good amount effort put in, over a period of time, of:
However, you may have not had the time or the money to do this. Or, maybe you weren’t aware of the amount of work needed to open with a BANG! In that case, you might think the act of getting patients is a mystery, your kind of haphazardly doing things to bring them in, therefore growing at a snail's pace or you’ve recently hit a plateau?
Today we're going to discuss the 5 ways you get a patient and what you can do to increase that amount this month and through to the end of the year. Ideally you should be getting 25+ new patients a month comfortably. If not, listen up and see where you can put your energy to bring in more!
When I sit down to think about the perfect Chiropractic office, these are the elements that come to mind. In a perfect world you would be 100% in all of these areas, for your practice to run smooth and successful. The reason most doctors haven't gotten these elements perfect is usually two-fold.
For those of you who have joined us in The Foundation, it's a great start for you because there you will learn the beginning elements of running a successful practice. We have a lot of what you need in there, but it's up to you to get the...
If you’re a Chiropractic student, a new Chiropractor, or you’re currently an Associate looking to startup or buy your first practice, then stay tuned, because today I’m going to tell you about The Foundation. I created it for you!
For the past 5 years, Rich and I have been mentoring students and new grads as they transition from school to starting their own clinics. Many times we gave them the encouragement and support they needed to make the choice to go on their own, rather than going to work as an Associate, building another person’s practice.
We’ve spent the last 3 years thinking of resources we wish we had when we were starting our first practice. In fact, it was in March of 2016 that we decided to start learning about podcast production and building the Chiro Business Mojo podcast to help support the Chiropractic profession - Chiropractic students, new Chiropractors, and Chiropractors looking for...
This is an important message that will save you time, money, and heartache – and ultimately build a profitable Chiropractic office!
My parents moved almost every year of my life. I lived in:
*Overland Park, KS (North)
*Overland Park, KS (South)
*Kansas City, MO (Brookside)
*Overland Park, KS
*Overland Park, KS
This was all before High School! It gives me a headache just thinking about it and Rich’s story is very similar.
Because we were always moving, there was no consistency to anything – We were always navigating a new home, new neighbors, new school, new friends, new activities, etc. It was miserable!
I see Chiropractors do a very similar, confusing thing to their patients. The Chiropractors are constantly looking for a new gadget or system that is going to blow their practice up(bring them the SUCCESS...
When Rich and I started our first Chiropractic practice (wow, almost 10 years ago!) we had a very clear vision of the type of practice we wanted to create. We wanted to build a practice where we would work together, in an inviting and comfortable atmosphere, treating the friends we made in our community, and their friends, families, and neighbors. We wanted to be able to bring our kids to work, as well as, schedule our work around trips and other important events in our lives. What we wanted was a solid Lifestyle Practice.
So, what is a lifestyle practice? It’s a practice that compliments your life instead of controlling your life. At the time, we didn’t realize that’s what we were building, but looking back at it now, a true, solid lifestyle practice is exactly what we were building, and lifestyle practice didn’t just describe our end goal, it described the entire journey we took to get there. We also believe that...
