One Big Mistake We Made in our First Chiropractic Practice

We've made mistakes! It happens. The best thing we can do with those mistakes is to learn from them and share them with you all, so that you don't make them. That's why we're here! Our why is to help chiropractors know and do better, so listen to this episode and learn from this one mistake we made early on in practice!
What Do Copyright Laws Have to Do With Chiropractors?
When we were first in practice, we use pictures we found on the internet for our blogs. Social media was new, blogging was new to me, and I had no idea that I couldn't use pictures from other places. At least, until we got a letter that someone wanted us to pay to use the picture. We immediately took the picture down, but that didn't matter. We weren't making any extra money from the picture, but it didn't matter.
What are Copyright Laws? Download the ChiroPlanner Illegally?
Copyright laws protect artists and works from being copied illegal-pictures, books, blogs, etc. We would be heartbroken if we found out that the ChiroPlanner was being downloaded for free somewhere, so we completely agree and understand that this use is illegal. We put a year of work into creating the ChiroPlanner. We paid a graphic designer to put it together, we pay a good amount to have each one printed, and then also to ship them. We use the income we make off of the ChiroPlanner to support all of the free content we put together to support Chiropractors in practice and students transitioning from chiropractic student to practice as a Chiropractor.

Make certain that anytime you copy a picture, create a meme, or use a picture for your blog and social media that you can use it. There are copyright free pictures that you can use. Two of those that we use are Pixabay and Unsplash.
